The original cast included Jessie Mueller as Carole King, Jake Epstein as Gerry Goffin, Anika Larsen as Cynthia Weil, Jarrod Spector as Barry Mann, Jeb Brown as Don Kirshner, and Liz Larsen as Eugenia ‘Genie’ Klein.
